  • In 2009, Scotch whisky maker the Macallan launched its Masters of Photography Collection, the first release of which comprised bottles with labels showcasing prints from internationally renowned photographer Rankin. The second limited-edition release from that series, which arrived stateside in January, features labels courtesy of Scottish photographer Albert Watson and a 20-year-old single malt aged in sherry oak barrels. Each label highlights a photo that Watson took while following a young couple from the oak forests of Spain to the distillery in Scotland's Speyside region the same journey taken by the Macallan's barrel wood.
